Review

This player is much better than I expected. I bought it to listen to audiobooks and was concerned that it would not bookmark the exact place I left off in a file. I was delighted to find out that as long as you turn it off by the remote it will resume from the exact place in the file where you left off. To eliminate static be sure to turn the player volume all the way up and turn the radio volume down to the desired level. If you keep the volume all the way up on the player and the volume of your car radio at a modest level you wont get the static normally associated with FM transmitters. It took me a while to figure out how to fast forward and rewind an audio file as there are no buttons for this on the remote. To fast forward or rewind simply push the up or down buttons on the right side of the player without pushing any of the function keys on the left side first. I have found that most all the functions except power off are available on the player itself by using a combination of the function buttons on the left of the player and the up / down buttons on the right side of the player. The instructions are not very helpful but it is not too hard to figure out how to navigate through all the player's normal functions. I have tried many FM transmitters to find one I really like. This player is by far the best I have found. This one has great signal strength with very little static. I have not had any issues with several different SD cards and it even works with the newest SDHC cards. The player can also navigate through sub folders on the SD card or it's own internal memory. This player does not have an auxiliary input so you will not be able to plug another player into into it. This should not be an issue since you can play your music or audiobook files directly from the internal memory or your SD card. This model is also available in a 1 GB and 4 GB model as well. For my uses the 2 GB is more than enough memory. If you are looking for a cheap method to listen to audiobooks or MP3 music through your existing car radio look no further. This unit is perfect for audiobooks! I will be buying several more of these to give as gifts. I LOVE these little players!
